Once again our team from the firm comprising of Michael Kennedy, Adam Digby, Peter Herriott and Christopher Meadows were in attendance to continue our support of the Us.
The Us played valiantly on the day and played some attractive football with former captain Chris Porter still leading by example.
Porter was chosen as the man of the match by birthday boy Michael Kennedy who was impressed with “Porters ability to lead from the front, set up team mates in threatening positions and convert chances given”.
Porter was the only goal scorer on the day with the first being a real poachers goal from within the 6 yard box, which was followed by a penalty.
Porter continues as the Colchester United’s leading goal scorer for the season, and we truly wish Chris and the team all the best.
